Civil Aviation Authority

The civil aviation sector is central to Afghan overall reconstruction efforts. The Afghan Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation (MoTCA) is working with international partners and donors for the rehabilitation, organization and management of Afghan Airspace, on the basis of the Afghan Civil Aviation Road Map and its Action Plan issued by MoTCA and supported by the International Community.

This process will lead to the transfer of Airspace Authority and Responsibility from the International Security Assistance Force to the Afghan government - Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.
