Aviation Fees

After January 15, 2012, cash is no longer accepted as payment for any civil aviation fee(s) at any airport within the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. All payments must be made through an electronic transfer of funds to the Central Bank of Afghanistan.

All airports, working in conjunction with air traffic control system, will register each flight and the operators and/or carriers will be billed accordingly. All operators and airlines are required to establish an account through the Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation.  To establish an account, all operators and carriers must submit the Ministry of Finance – Revenue Department Vendor Registration Form (http://www.mof.gov.af).

All payments must be made in U.S. Dollars. Only those fees posted on the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation website are to be paid. Please refer to the applicable civil aviation fees below.

No other fees or taxes will be collected to any airport. Please report any solicitation for fees or taxes to the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.
