  • Caution 25-200ft drop off on both sides of runway shoulders.
  • Caution: 12ft perimeter fence located 775ft southeast corner of departure end of rwy 14.
  • Caution: 300ft past departure end of rwy32 ground drops off 25ft.
  • Caution: concentrated flocks of birds in vicinity of airfield
  • Sfc-500ft+-1 hour sunrise-sunset.
  • Caution: visibility obstruction may occur during day and/or night time operations at the approach end of RWY 32 and/or the HLZ which is located southwest of approach end of rwy 32. due to winds coming from the southeast carrying smoke from burn pit located southeast of the airfield.
  • Caution: aircrews should exercise caution due to rubber deposit buildup, increased potential for hydroplaning exists when RSC is wet. ice on RWY no decelerometer avail.
  • Caution: men and equipment operating 150ft from rwy edge westside midfield of rwy 14/32 at all times.
  • Caution: clam shell height 60ft tall located 400ft on westside
    midfield of rwy 14/32.
  • During inclement weather at sharana aaf, men and snow removal equipment may be on the runway, contact tower on vhf 120.100 on initial contact for weather information and aorfield advisories.
  • All aircraft contact sharana atc on vhf 120.100 on initial contact.if unable to establish two-way radio communications on vhf,contact sharana atc on uhf 250.700.  If unable to establish two-way radio communications prior to entering sharana class "d" surface area, do not enter controlled class "d" airspace, remain outside 5 nm from sharana until two-way radio communications are established.  In the event of an emergency or potential emergency and two-way radio communications are not established, attempt to contact sharana atc on vhf/uhf guard frequencies.
  • Caution: unlit wind sock located 160ft on west side of rwy centerline at mid-field. Additionally, all winds given from the air traffic control tower are estimated due to the location of tmq-13 weather equipment.
