The airfield is located on the north side of Kokcha river, one half mile north of Khvejghar airport, four miles east of the town of Khwaja I Ghar, six miles southeast of the Tajikistan border.
The airfield is located in a flat area with rolling hills to the east and south. Natural drainage is fair.
